Blake Hall Wedding Photography July

Blake Hall Wedding Photography July

Blake Hall Wedding Photography July 2014: On Saturday I photographed this wedding for Harriet and Nathan which took place at Blake Hall (www.blakehall.co.uk) where I am one of the recommended wedding photographers.

I arrived at Blake Hall where the bride was getting ready in the cottage which is a lovely setting for the getting ready photographs. There had been rain first thing but the sky turned blue soon after.

I was working alongside Richard from White Dress Films (www.whitedressfilms.co.uk) and also knew the make-up lady Sam from Beautiful You (www.beautiful-you.biz).

The flowers were by The Flower Mill (www.theflowermillessex.co.uk).

I then took the short journey to the church in Bobbingworth which you can see from the driveway at Blake Hall.

After the ceremony we headed back to Blake Hall. The weather was looking very stormy so we head straight down to the gardens for the romantic portrait shoot.

After a couple of spots of rain we went back to the barn and the couple mingled with their guests.

After some family group photos I took the guys for a few more photos as time had been quite short before the ceremony at the church.

Everyone went in for their meal and it was followed by the speeches.

As rain had prevented us from doing the big group photograph before the meal, we all headed out straight after the speeches. Thanks to Austin for lending me his big step ladder and I was able to get this aerial group photo.

I took the bride and groom for a couple of evening shots as the light was lovely.

It was then time for the cutting of the cake and the first dance. They had the band “One Foot In The Groove” (www.onefootinthegroove.co.uk) performing some great covers. They had also been playing relaxed Jazz earlier in the day during the drinks reception and sounded great!

I had a lovely time with Harriet and Nathan, and we were all looked after by the team at Blake Hall.

It was my pleasure! I had a great time shooting their wedding, and you can really see how much they love each other. I will be in touch very soon once all of their photographs are ready for the private gallery. Dean :-)

Wedding Photographer Blog by Dean Robson

My blog is a great way for me to display my work. This should also give you a feel of how the wedding day story can progress. After viewing the set of photos you should almost feel as if you were there with them experiencing their day.

"natural expression, and real smiles..."

My aim is to tell the story of the wedding day through my photographs. I pay great attention to the natural expression, and capturing the real smiles of happiness, and the photographic composition.

"unposed storytelling..."

Although some parts of the day require posing and structure, the formal group photographs for example. Most my photography is natural. I capture the moments as they happen. I also capture the scenery and wedding details that are all symbolic of the day.
