The Hunters Meet Wedding Photography Essex 2017: On Saturday I photographed Chloe and Simon’s wedding at the Hunters Meet (https://huntersmeet.co.uk/weddings/) in Hatfield Heath, Essex. Chloe is part of the team at the wedding venue, which made it extra special as this is also a local venue for me where I am proud to be recommended. I provided a mix of natural, candid and documentary photography as well as a few posed shots along the way to really capture the story and emotion of Chloe and Simon’s wedding. The forecast was for some sunshine, cloud and rain later.

I arrived at Down Hall (http://downhall.co.uk/) where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready. Down Hall is a large hotel only about 5 minutes from the Hunters Meet.

I then took the short journey to the Hunters Meet.

It wasn’t long before the bride arrived.

After the ceremony every had drinks in the garden and the guests were in great spirit.

After some group photographs I took the couple across the road to Hatfield Heath for their wedding portraits.

We then utilised the lovely garden at the Hunters Meet.

As Chloe works at the Hunters Meet, we had to get her team of girls together for this… “Coyote Hunters re-visited!”

Everyone went in for the meal, just as it began to rain… perfect timing!

After the speeches there was time for some confetti before the cutting of the cake and first dance.

I had a lovely day with Chloe and Simon, and hope I managed to capture the happiness and joy from their wedding day. As there wasn’t a sunset I got a dramatic sky shot instead.

Great Hallingbury Manor Wedding Photography 2017

Great Hallingbury Manor Wedding Photography 2017: On Sunday I photographed Georgina and John’s wedding which took place at Great Hallingbury Manor (http://www.greathallingburymanor.co.uk/), near Bishops Stortford on the Hertfordshire and Essex border. Forecast was for a dry but cloudy day, which for a photographer means perfect soft light for photographs and minimal shadows.

I arrived at Great Hallingbury Manor on the morning of the wedding to start capturing the wedding day and to tell Georgina and John’s story. I took lots of natural and candid photographs as well as some formal and posed up shots along with the wedding portraits. Everything is shot in colour, but some of the photos were screaming to be black and white.

My aim is to capture real emotions and moments that unfold in front of me.

It wasn’t long before the groom and the chaps arrived.

After the ceremony we took advantage of the dry weather and had some family group photographs before inviting the couple away for a few minutes for their wedding portraits.

This area behind the car park made for some lovely photographs, and gave me an idea for later.

After the meal and speeches I captured some natural moments outside, before it was time for the cake and first dance.

Lloyd was the DJ for the evening and kept everyone entertained.

We returned to the area behind the car park and I took some stunning sunset style shots using my off camera flash set up.

I had a lovely day with Georgina and John, and was made to feel very welcome by all their friends and family.

Wedding Photography at Blake Hall in Essex August 2017

Wedding Photography at Blake Hall in Essex August 2017: On Saturday I photographed Kelly and Greg’s summer wedding at Blake Hall (https://www.blakehall.net/) in Ongar, Essex. The forecast was for dry and overcast, with possible sunny spells.

I shoot a mix of styles on a wedding, mainly natural looking photography as well as some posed shots (groups and wedding portraits) and all the finer details. For most of the day I am looking for those candid moments, and genuine smiles are important to me as they show the real emotion from the day. I try to blend into the background as much as I can as it enables me to capture the natural moments unfolding. The bridal party were getting ready in the Old Coach House. I was working alongside Ben the videographer from HNE Media (http://www.hnemedia.co.uk/) who I’ve worked with many times before.

The groom and his best man arrived along with some of the guests.

The couple and their children took a wander around the gardens and we took some photographs along the way.

After a few family group photographs it was time for some confetti and then the meal was served.

Tony Steward (http://www.thecompleteweddingmagician.co.uk/) was performing magic for everyone during the reception.

The evening kicked off with the cutting of the wedding cake followed by the first dance.

There was also an opportunity to get a beautiful sunset with the couple. I had a great day with Kelly and Greg, and I hope I managed to tell the story of their day. It was lovely working alongside Ben, Tony, and also Austin and the team at Blake Hall.
