In mid May I photographed this wedding for Lorraine and Justin which took place at the Haycock Hotel (www.thehaycock.co.uk) in Wansford near Peterborough.

The weather forecast was for rain so I was expecting to photograph most of the wedding indoors. I arrived nice and early to capture the getting ready shots and the ceremony. As well as having some lovely grounds, The Haycock also has it’s very own hair salon called the Hair Boutique.

Right on cue, the rain had arrived at the point the ceremony had finished. I took some group photographs indoors and it was a good opportunity to take some candid shots.

Keeping an eye on the weather I noticed a break in the showers so we took the opportunity of getting some group photographs outside.

It was then time for the wedding breakfast and a lovely meal it was too!

After the speeches and while the hotel turned the room around for the evening party I took the guests into the courtyard for a big group photograph before borrowing the bride and groom for a romantic shoot utilising the grounds at the Haycock.

The evenings entertainment started of with a casino!

As it was a nice evening I took some guest portraits outside.

It was then time for the first dance. The couple had singer Mickey Fordola (www.mickeyfordola.co.uk) who is a Rat Pack and Jazz singer which sounded great!

I had a really fun time with Lorraine and Justin and even though the weather was a bit unpredictable we managed to get all of the photos we wanted.
