Last weekend I photographed this wedding for Beverley and Owen which took place at Blake Hall Barns (www.blakehall.co.uk) near Ongar in Essex.

Arriving at the Ivy Hill Hotel (www.ivyhillhotel.co.uk) in Margaretting near Chelmsford I captured photographs of the bride getting ready. Blushing Brides (www.blushing-brides.net) who I’ve worked with before did the hair. The flowers were arranged by Karen @ The Flower Mill (www.theflowermillessex.co.uk) and they looked fantastic!

I then went to St. Michael and All Angels Church (www.stmichaelsgalleywood.org.uk) near Galleywood Common in Chelmsford. I captured the Bride’s arrival and the ceremony before some casual shots outside the church. The service was taken by Stephanie and was very relaxed, entertaining and I was able to take lots of photographs inside the church.

We then made the journey to Blake Hall where the wedding reception was to take place. Blake Hall is a fabulous wedding venue with stunning locations and a very lovely barn which is perfect for wedding functions.

After utilising the grounds for some romantic shots, I took the formal group shots in the area next to the barn which also has some great natural looking backgrounds.

It was then time for the reception meal, speeches and evening party.

I noticed there was a sunset and the couple were very pleased to come out and get some extra special photographs.

I had a great day photographing Beverley and Owen’s wedding day and there was just one last photo to capture before leaving.
